My Interests/Involvements

I am an avid fantasy lover and enjoy all things science-fiction whether they be in book or film form. When I was younger I would spend hours on my porch reading novels taking place in outer-space or deep beneath the earths crust. I have been rediscovering my love for reading one book recommendation at a time.

I also learned to crochet during Covid so I have created quite a few projects over the past few years including a few blankets and a few articles of clothing. With that I have decided to join the knitting club on campus to meet fellow textile artists. Some of my closest friends at the club and I have found that it is a great way for me to center myself during stressful weeks.

Since I discovered that UC's hammock hill I have made it a priority that I try to hammock on the lawn at least once a week for the health benefits it holds, of course. Like many students, the hammock hill was a place of respite durring the stress of midterms and exams.

I am someone who truly enjoys nature, and makes it a priority to make it into the outdoors as often as my schedule allows, as it makes me more grounded and able to concentrate. To the left I have included photos from a few different trips in Wyoming, Tennessee, Bulgaria and one photo is taken on campus. I just want to show that you can take in nature from anywhere. One of my priorities is my physical and mental well being; when I am in nature both of those are at peace, and so I do my best to get outside whenever possible.
